In-Mold Labeling (IML) is an advanced packaging technology that integrates labels with products during the molding process of plastic items. Primarily used for injection-molded products, this technique involves placing pre-printed labels inside molds. During the molding process, the labels adhere tightly to the product surface, forming a unified packaging solution.
#Problem:
Effervescent tube IML is a difficult task in labeling due to the following reasons:
1. Because the product is small, deep and multi-cavities,
It is easy to cause the embedding of labels offset, one or few cavities are offset;
2. The cavity is vertical, and the CNC machining accuracy of each cavity is extremely high, reaching +-0.05mm;
Ordinary round core industrial plastic rod processing is prone to deviation from vertical.
3. When the front arm X1 and X2 reach the specified position at high speed, there will be an instantaneous vibration.
#Solution:
In view of the above difficulties, we work closely with the mold manufacturer to strengthen the rigidity of the front arm without increasing the total load, and carry out multiple precision machining on the vertical electrostatic jig.
